The Nam Restaurant is supposedly one of the best on the island, offering a fusion of East and West dishes. The resort's antique Malay Kampung houses are beautifully refurbished with modern amenities. And let's not forget the special menu with yummy desserts available at any hour - perfect for a midnight feast!
Just loved it all, no complaints. So disappointed.

Warm welcome at arrival. Fantastic private villa. Very romantic. It is designed for couples who want to enjoy every single moment. The restaurant is good but not as good as good places found in Penang. We love the house style made of dark wood.
The breakfast is served in the fridge the night before, don't expect a nice breakfast. The cats always trying to sleep with you- but you just have to send them away. But all is perfect overall.

Concept of staying in a traditional malay village with all the modern comforts
Breakfast was bad as it is provided the night before. Also I definitely feel that it was not good value for money. Its also not on a beach.

Fantastic location, friendly staff, great desserts and drinks. Loved having cats and dogs around. Beautiful grounds with lots of wildlife. Close to Pantai Cenang for massages, restaurants, bars, and airport access. Unique experience supporting a great cause.
Felt welcomed into the family, no reason to complain.

Fabulous place, great staff, fantastic food and just so relaxing! We stayed in White Frangipani for 2 nights and Yellow Orchid for 3...both great!
Very little!

I loved my stay at the Bon Ton, food was delicious, staff friendly and quick to smile and laugh, and the animals, well just to say that I am missing my house cat at Black Coral and the very lovely Skippy.
The only thing I would change would be to have an open balcony or deck on each of the villas, the Black Coral was great but I was envious of the people with an open area to sit out and have a drink. There should be drinking bowls for the cats in each villa as I used a drinking cup for them and they were always thirsty and a brush would have been nice so that I could help groom them (if they didn't mind)

My stay at Bon Ton Antique Wooden Villas was absolutely amazing. The villas had a lovely rustic charm and the atmosphere was so relaxing. The host and staff were excellent, always attentive and friendly. The restaurant/lobby/bar had great music and the food was one of the best cuisines I've ever had in my whole life!
The warm water was lacking, and the aircon struggled to cool the villa. But that's part of the rustic charm!

Having read various extremely positive reports, we arrived here with very high expectations - possibly even too high - yet the resort did not disappoint in any way. The staff was very attentive, the setting beautiful, the atmosphere thoroughly relaxing, and the food great. Nothing was too much trouble.
A minor issue - but possibly the resort should have just one tv somewhere. While one does not expect to have TVs all over the place in a rustic resort such as this, I did have reason to have to watch tv for about an hour, and had to go next door to Temple Tree. Not a hardship, but a single tv is surely not a bio ask?

We had a delightful stay at a rustic luxury resort surrounded by nature. the huts were beautifully decorated and well-maintained, offering a romantic atmosphere. the resort's restaurant served delicious vegetarian meals, and the concept of breakfast delivered to our rooms was satisfying. the resort's support for an animal shelter added charm, with adorable cats roaming around.
The bathroom was open, which could be inconvenient during rainy weather.

We had booked the cheapest of all room types - Blue Ginger - but it totally exceeds my expectation. It looks kinda small on the photo, but was actually quite big, with an open bathroom and a wooden bathtub. Our room is really colorful and cozy too. Breakfast was prepared inside the fridge for self-service the next morning, which is fine. Actually the breakfast is so plentiful we can't finish them all. I had stayed in many good hotels and Bon Ton is simply one of the best. However, we noted that Temple Tree, which is under the same hotel management, was a little run down on the outside (though I dont know what's the inside look like). We prefer Bon Ton to Temple Tree (although Temple Tree is more expensive)
Not really, except that the Blue ginger Room doesnt come with a blanket. It's kinda cold at night with the air-con.

As a young couple we wanted something a little different than the usual 5 star Hilton type hotel. Bon Ton offers a very unique experience, we loved the Malay cottages, fabulous scenery, well manicured gardens and extremely peaceful and serene. Very romantic especially when the sun sets. Outstanding food and the staff couldnt be more helpful. Really didnt want to leave, stayed 6 nights but wished we could have stayed for 1 month

The traditional-style cottages were cozy and the hotel team was attentive and lovely. The restaurant served delicious lunch and dinner options. We particularly enjoyed the super calm place and the fact that we could bring our furkids along. we highly recommend this resort for a chilled and enjoyable stay.

Very cute houses, good location, is a very romantic environment.
Breakfast was very poor, we would expect a buffet for this price.
